Today I made a decision that took some convincing… mostly convincing myself. After months of obsessing over fonts, colors, margins, and whether my website header should be 2% bigger or 2% smaller, I finally admitted the truth: I’ve been hiding behind “design work” like it’s a full-time job.
So, in a moment of bravery (or temporary insanity), I decided I’m going to make a TikTok video.
Yes. Me. The woman with a missing tooth, a misplaced bridge, and a long history of avoiding cameras unless the lighting is dim and the angle is forgiving.
But honestly? It’s time.
Time to stop rearranging pixels and start showing up.
Time to stop perfecting the website and actually create something for it.
Time to stop waiting for the “right moment” and just do the ridiculous thing.
Will the video be funny? Absolutely.
Will I look like a woman who cracked a hazelnut and lost the fight? Also yes.
But maybe that’s the charm. Maybe that’s the whole point.
Today I stopped hiding behind design and decided to catch up with my own life.
And if TikTok has to witness my chaos to make that happen… so be it.
